Luckiest. Week. Ever.

Seriously, people. How blessed can one person be? I’ve had the lucky streak of a lifetime. Honestly, I’m waiting for the lightning bolt to end it because no one person can be this lucky. Let me tell you all about why I can’t wipe this cheezey grin off my face. Ready?

  • SheBlogs.org – If you’re a blogger and you’re not a part of the SheBlogs community yet, what are you waiting for? They are basically handing out PR contacts on a silver platter over there and only members can take advantage of it. You know how I know this? Because Julie, the amazing founder and owner of SheBlogs, hired me as a sales manager. That’s right, people. I’m working full-time at a normal 9 to 5 (okay, 7:30 to 4:30, but stay with me here) job and pitching all of YOU to the PR pros of the world and trying to get them to send goodies your way. That reminds me, if you know any PR pros that you think might want to reach out to a couple thousand bloggers really easily, please send me their contact info and I’ll talk them through the process (lindsay@lindsayblogs.com).
  • Lovable Labels – You may remember about a month ago, I wrote a post for the Lovable Labels BlogHer ’10 Getaway Contest. Well, I’m a finalist!!! I have no freaking clue until I got a DM on Twitter from none other than Ms. Beth Zimmerman (she’s a work in progress, apparently) and I about jumped out of my chair. So, now I have to wait until 10 am to find out if I’m going to BlogHer or not. Oh please Oh please Oh please! P.S. If you happen to have any say in whether I win or lose, please help me win. I have not spent a night away from my kids since they were born. Ever. Not once. I need a freaking break.
  • Update: I didn’t win the trip to BlogHer, but Lindsay Maddox did and she’s amazing. Make sure you check out her blog at http://blog.lindsaymaddox.com/. You will laugh your face off. :)
  • Home – Remember how I said I was moving at the end of August into a gorgeous new home? I lied. My new landlord (landlady, actually) called me Thursday and said, “Hey, why don’t you move in August 1st and I’ll just waive the August rent?” I’m not kidding. It really happened. True story. At first, I assumed it was a trick question and sat dumbstruck. Then, I agreed and did a happy dance! Oh! That reminds me, I promised her I would bring her Hawaiian coffee (lots of it because I have too freaking much and don’t even drink the stuff) and my True Blood book. Thanks for reminding me!

Now, I don’t want to jinx myself, but I’m feeling pretty darn good now after all of that. I needed a good pick-me-up.

Thank you, God!

Got any good news to share with me? I would love to hear it!
