I love Melissa & Doug toys. We have about a million different sets around the house and the girls love them all. The girls are always having picnics and making us “dinner” with their play food sets. But, Melissa & Doug offer so much more than that. Now, they have four new sets that are just perfect for summer!

They are perfect for the beach, but we don’t have a beach nearby. Do you think that stopped my girls for even one second?
Not a chance. They opened up every single set and spread them out all over the place. I had about 15 “cupcakes” that night. Maybe I haven’t mentioned, but I’m a bit of a cupcake lover, so they know what to do with some baking cups! They mixed up everything in the big crab pail and then poured the “batter” into the baking cups.
There’s just one problem with their new favorite toys….
- I used to have a bathtub.
Someday, I’m sure I’ll get my bathtub back, but I don’t see it in my near future. The nice thing for me about these toys? They’re fairly self-contained. The pails hold all of the shovels and scoops and things while the blue mesh bag that came with the cupcake set holds all of the smaller pieces and even lets the water drain out of them.
All in all, I love the toys because they incorporate cupcakes into bathtime. My girls love them because they incorporate cupcakes into bathtime. Basically, everything is better with cupcakes!

I really love the Bella Butterfly Tunnel.
