My pups are too of the laziest and most rambunctious dogs I have ever known. How is that possible? They sleep all day, but for almost every second they are awake they are attacking each other or chewing on their dang bones.
Rawhides don’t work because Buddy just eats them up in about an hour. The only kind of bone that last any time at all are those super hard ones that can’t be chewed to death in a matter of minutes. So, when I was given the chance to review the Mr. Chewy website, I knew exactly what I was looking for:
- Iams dog food (the pups need consistency in their food in order to avoid the poops)
- Those fancy bones that don’t chew away
- Something that Angel can chew on
Navigating the Site
The Mr. Chewy website is super simple to navigate and finding everything I needed only took me a few minutes. The dog food is all organized by brand so it’s easy to find the right kind for the pups. And thank goodness for the clear images of the dog food bags so I knew which one to buy. I’m not very good at remembering the exact name of the food, but I can find it by the color and look of the bag. I know that sounds dumb, but it’s mom brain. I forget practically everything.
There were a ridiculous number of choices when it came to the bones and treats for the pups. I was really excited to see the Merrick G.I. Bone Dog Chews. They looked perfect for Buddy and they even had smaller sizes for little Angel! So, I ordered a few for Buddy in the bigger size and a few for Angel in the smaller size. Oddly enough, she only seems to want to go after Buddy’s bones.

I placed my order with Mr. Chewy just before the holidays. The order shipped out almost immediately and I would have gotten it much faster if I hadn’t put in the wrong stinking address when I placed the order (See? Mom brain). I would get the cats Felidae chicken meal and rice dry cat food, because they have had it before but I cannot find ot locally, my pets like a variety of foods and the cats have their own food table so they usually get 2 or 3 kinds of food available to them, I would get teh dogs a Natural Balance Turkey Formula Dog Food Roll Merrick Doggie WishBone Tendons, Zukes Powerbones Beef Formula By Zukes, and Merrick G.I.
