Nope, that’s not a typo in the title – That’s just what Pumpkin calls Puss in Boots. She can’t seem to wrap her mind around the correct title. Either way, when we got this movie in for review, she was all over it. Of course, it didn’t hurt that it came with a super fun viewing kit, either.
Yeah, those little golden eggs? They were filled with caramel. They didn’t last long. We had a good time with this movie because I’ve been wanting to see it for quite awhile (don’t tell the people who still think I’m mature, k?). The girls and their friend, Mollie, donned the masks (after fighting between the sisters over who got to be the girl) and looked absolutely hilarious!
The girls sneaked away and watched the movie on their own the first time around, but a few days later, when my mom was visiting, we all got to watch it together.
I was cracking up! My girls really liked the silliness of it all, but the one-liners were getting me – They were hilarious! Who knew cats could be so funny? It has the same type of humor that Shrek played so well: slightly over-the-head of most kids, but not overtly so. We had a good time watching it.
You can pick up Puss in Bootson Amazon if you’re looking for a light-hearted laugh or a new movie for the kids!
Disclosure: I was provided a copy of Puss in Boots and the viewing kit in order to facilitate my honest review. No other compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own.
