Tinkerbell has been a long-time favorite in our house. So, when I got the invite to check out Disney’s Secret of the Wings, I was all over that! My girls absolutely love going to the movies and this was just a fun way to spend the morning!
You may remember that my girls are scared of everything…As a matter of fact, the last Tinkerbell movie we saw (Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue) was apparently too scary for them. Because of this, they were both pretty nervous about watching Secret of the Wings.
That was all for naught.
About halfway through the movie, Pumpkin realized she really liked it and started talking back to the movie…LOUDLY. She was cheering on the fairies and having a blast. Dumpling (who has Tinkerbell sheets on her bed and had a Tinkerbell birthday last year) was enamored the entire time. It was also really fun because we had the wonderful Meghan and her daughter (who used to go to daycare with Dumpling) right next to us.
When all was said and done, the girls LOVED the movie and Pumpkin even answered a few questions for me in the parking lot (Dumpling, in case you haven’t noticed) is camera-shy and refuses to do any videos for me.
Secret of the Wings is being released on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 23rd, so make sure to pre-order now!
