Once upon a time, before I had kids and responsibilities, it was not unusual for me to spend all day and all night in front of the TV playing video games. When I had kids and a job and actual responsibilities, that had to die down a bit, but it hasn’t gone away entirely. I still get a little bit of time to myself in the evenings to spend how I wish.
Earlier this year, I became absolutely obsessed with Assassin’s Creed. I spent a good many late nights hanging out with Ezio and taking over Rome by force. We took to the rooftops and kicked major butt! I’m not usually much of a fan of the action-adventure genre, but I love role-playing games and Assassin’s Creed was like the best of both worlds. To top it all off, the open world let me determine my own gaming path. Instead of being forced to follow a specific story line like most console games, I was able to do as I pleased and make the game what I wanted it to be.
Assassin’s Creed is truly an amazing gaming experience and I can’t wait to play Assassin’s Creed 3 and experience the American Revolution in the same way that I experienced Rome.
