Every time my girls have seen the commercial for theĀ Glow Crazy Doodle Dome on TV, they sit glued to their places and staring in awe. Last week, we received the Doodle Dome for review and my girls have been thoroughly testing it out ever since.
Setting up the Doodle Dome
The tent only took about one minute to set up since it just pops open, so that was nice. It doesn’t take up too much room, but it’s still a good size for my girls (they’re pretty small kids, anyway).
The girls climbed in and set to work.
Doodling in the Dome
The tent was sufficiently dark (surprisingly dark, actually). One thing to keep in mind if you decide to buy the Doodle Dome is that only one wall of the tent is actually for drawing. That doesn’t seem to stop the girls from having fun, though.
I am a little disappointed in the lack of drawing space, but also in the quality of the pen. In order to leave a mark on the drawing wall, the pen has to be pressed up against the wall. This makes using the stencils that come with the dome rather difficult since you can’t hold the stencil perfectly in place while dragging the pen across it.
The Opinions that Matter
Now, those areĀ my concerns with the Doodle Dome. My girls do not have the same issues. As a matter of fact, they haven’t complained about it at all. I figure, since they have the opinions that matter and they’re happy, that’s all that matters.
I haven’t had the chance to put the tent away yet, but it’s very easy to fold up, so I don’t think it’s going to be a problem at all.

We love Glow Crazy products. We don’t have the Doodle Dome, but it looks super neat. Glad the girls like it!

I haven’t heard of it, but I do think the kids would like it (even w/the cons). Love the honest review and the introduction to a new product.
