On Monday, my little Pumpkin lost her very first tooth.
She’s really quite pleased with herself and has shown practically everyone. Not to mention the sheer joy in her eyes when she realized that the Tooth Fairy would be visiting her that night.
{By the way, whose idea was it to put a child’s lost tooth under their pillow….where they SLEEP?}
When the Tooth Fairy showed up, this note was found tucked under little Pumpkin’s pillow:
In case you need some interpretation….
I LOVE YOU!!! T
Dear T,
I hope you give me a lot of coins.
Apparently, my Pumpkin and the Tooth Fairy are on such good terms that it’s just “T” now. No need for formalities here.
So, the Tooth Fairy {ahem} had to trade in the dollar bill she brought along with her for four shiny quarters. So now, the tooth and note are gone, the coins are in her piggy bank and she has the cutest little gap-tooth grin I’ve ever seen.
It turns out, my girls are going to keep getting bigger no matter how much I wish they would stay small. However, it also turns out that it’s extremely cool watching them grow up.

OMG. That is the cutest letter EVER!
I hope she got a lot of coins for her very first lost tooth!

She is too cute. Thank you for reminding me I have some unfinished toothfairy pillows in my pile of unfinished projects. I guess I better finish those before the tooth fairy shows up for my niece and nephew. lol

My little guy just lost his first tooth too…same spot.
The Tooth Fairy here only had a handful of pennies and nickels on the big day…but it was still well received.
She does look cute w/o her tooth.
