About Lindsay
I’m really just a normal girl. I have been married to my wonderful husband since 2005. He is my rock and keeps me {somewhat} sane. There is a 13 year age gap between us but you’d never know it just by hanging out with us {except for the fact that I like to remind him regularly how old he is}.
We have two beautiful little girls – Pumpkin {born 2006} and Dumpling {born 2008}. I like to instill a sense of security by not using their real names on the blog. Allow me that small token of false security. We even have a dumb old mutt named Buddy, who I love most days and others I wonder, “How in the world did he think he was going to get away with eating that?” In 2011, we also added a furball named Angel to our fun little family.
We moved to the Metro Atlanta area (read – not Atlanta, but close enough to call ourselves Metro Atlanta) in 2007 and have come together with some truly amazing friends and finally found faith. I am a Christian woman and love to tell people about my love for Christ and how he died and was resurrected so that we could all have a chance at eternal life.
In 2012, I started getting serious about my weight loss and will be chronicling my journey on this site. I hope that my struggles and triumphs will resonate with many of you and help us build a friendship and community to help support one another.
