I couldn’t tell you one single thing that has made me feel so unusually happy on this Monday morning. Maybe it’s the fact that my Dumpling’s third birthday party went extremely well (pictures to follow as soon as I am not lazy and upload them). Maybe it’s the fact that I received a glass bead magnet from a terribly crafty person this morning (who just so happens to be the same person who planned and executed the flawless Tinkerbell birthday party this weekend). Or, maybe it’s the fact that I just received a very random box of chocolates from my old boss.
It could be any of those things.
But it’s probably not.
It’s most likely the fact that today I celebrate six years of marriage with my husband. He has been the greatest love, best friend and most amazing father to my children I could have asked for. He has treated me with love, respect and care since the very beginning and I have never been happier. Our marriage has grown so much in these past six years. Our marriage has evolved into an amazing relationship that I wouldn’t trade for the world.
We have been through some very tough times. I cannot even begin to tell you how far we have come. But, through all of the turmoil, we have grown closer and stronger than any relationship I have ever known. We know each other’s flaws and weaknesses and choose not to exploit them. We know each other’s strengths and perfections and choose to embrace them. I know all of his little nuances and he knows all of my weird quirks (there are a few).
I wouldn’t trade these past six years for anything in the world. I love my hubby and I’m so thankful that we found each other. There really is no logical reason why we ever should have even met, but we did. I don’t know where I would be without my hubby, but I’m glad I don’t have to find out.

My girls love Go, Diego! Go! They love it a lot. More than most kids, I think. They have every DVD memorized and can tell me exactly which episode they want to watch and exactly what video it’s on and exactly how it goes. Because of this, I have them memorized, too. If I didn’t, I would incur the WRATH of two little girls who aren’t getting their pygmy marmoset rescue fast enough. You know the type.
run on all fours. So, I’ve got two very short little girls that are very naked that are running around on hands and feet and yelling “ROW ROW!” just like Baby Jaguar.
I also received my party pack for the
